Plans and billing

Do you add new gradients and components?
Yes. We keep adding presets and Pro components. Monthly and yearly plans include everything that ships while the plan is active, and lifetime includes every future Pro component and preset.
What does Pro include?
Every Pro component (cursor and scroll reactions, glass, dither, god rays and more), every preset in every collection, PNG export up to 16K where supported, MP4 export up to 6K or 4K60, plus 1440p and 1080p at 120 fps where supported, and code export for everything.
What's the difference between monthly, yearly and lifetime?
Nothing but how you pay. Monthly is $29 a month, yearly is $129 a year, and lifetime is a single payment with no renewal. All three unlock the same Pro.
Can I get a refund?
Write to hello@gradients.sh and tell us what went wrong. We read every message.
What happens when my plan ends?
Projects started while your plan was active stay covered after you cancel. New projects need an active plan. Pro downloads and editor access stop when your paid period ends. Downloads are tagged with your account. Abuse or redistribution can close your account.

License and accounts

How do I manage Pro?
Sign in to your account and open the Polar customer portal from your account page. For help, write to hello@gradients.sh.
Can I use the gradients in commercial projects?
Yes. The free components are MIT, and the free presets and anything you export from them are yours to use anywhere, paid and client work included. Pro comes with a commercial license: Use Pro components, presets and exports in paid work: your products, client sites, ads and videos. Open source apps and sites may use Pro. Don't publish Pro components or presets on their own, or as a library, template or UI kit.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Pro belongs to the signed-in account that completes checkout. Create a personal token on your account page and use it in components.json for the Pro registry.

Using gradients.sh

Which browsers work?
Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile. Gradients render with WebGPU where the browser supports it and WebGL2 everywhere else. Without either, or when the tab is in the background, each one shows a still version of itself, so the page never has an empty box. Video export needs WebCodecs, which Chrome and Edge support today.
Will it slow my site down?
No. A component is a few kilobytes of code that renders in the browser, instead of megabytes of video. Off-screen gradients pause and give their GPU context back, and visitors who prefer reduced motion get a still frame.
How do I get help?
Email hello@gradients.sh. The docs cover installing components, the editor and exports.
